Development, Integration and Validation
of Energy Management and IoT Solutions.
Being a spinoff of the FZI Research Center for Information Technology our customers benefit from our long-term experience in supporting the development of products which advance the energy transition.More information
We test energy management and IoT solutions optimizing the operation of controllable systems in buildings such as PV and battery systems, intelligent charging stations and heat pumps, thereby following an integral approach with end-to-end tests. Furthermore, we support you in the analysis and resolution of problems.
We develop prototypes and proof of concepts, e.g. for new device control and measuring data collection methods.
We provide consulting services on selection and integration of components for your energy management solution and regarding intelligent metering systems (iMSys).
For this purpose we use specialized software developed in-house as well as suitable power electronic devices.more
Integration and end-to-end system tests for IoT- and Energy Management Systems.
Prototype/PoC devolopment and building of test and development setups.
Support on debugging, software design and component selection.
Application of specialized software and power electronic devices.
We are living flexibility!
EnQS is located in the FZI House of Living Labs which is an extensive research, development and demonstration facility in the eastern part of Karlsruhe. For this purpose, generation units, storage systems as well as flexible loads are integrated and connected within the building.
This environment is used for development and testing of energy management systems as part of various FZI research projects. Being a FZI spinoff located next to its energy research group, we benefit from a close collaboration with our FZI colleagues.
As a young company we are able to meet your requirements in a swift and flexible manner. At the same time you will benefit from more than 10 years of experience in applied energy research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and FZI.
