EnQS certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015

December 15 2020

For the EnQS team, working efficiently without complex organizational structures and processes is a decisive competitive advantage. When introducing the quality management system, we therefore placed particular emphasis on integrating all implemented processes in such a way that we can use them meaningfully during our daily work and thus increase the high level of quality at the same time.

EnQS offers testing, development and consulting services related to IoT and energy management solutions. In order to be able to sustainably ensure the high quality of the service portfolio, a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 was established and successfully certified by TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH on December 7, 2020.

The goal of the EnQS team is not only to fulfill contractually agreed services, but to inspire its customers. This motto is now also firmly anchored in the EnQS quality policy.

Intelligent Storage Heaters: A Flexible Technology for Existing Buildings

Although new buildings are mostly equipped with heat pumps, there are still storage heaters with an installed capacity of more than 20 GW in existing buildings. On behalf of EGH, EnQS has built the EGH platform based on Azure components, which has been optimizing around 3000 connected storage heaters in the field for two years. In the context of dynamic electricity tariffs, smart metering systems and §14a EnWG, considerable flexibility potential can be exploited.

Efficiency Measurements for PV Storage Systems

EnQS carries out efficiency measurements in accordance with the efficiency guidelines for PV storage systems. This is a test guideline for characterizing the efficiency, standby consumption and control efficiency of stationary battery storage systems, which are often integrated into home energy management systems (HEMS). In this context, EnQS is expanding its measurement and testing equipment in the EnQS Testlab and thus its portfolio of HEMS-related services.
